This just in: An Iowa state district court has temporarily blocked the six-week abortion ban that was passed last week. Abortion in Iowa remains safe and legal -- for now.

When the ban was passed last week, we filed suit* as soon as possible to stop it from being enforced. We won this round, but this is a temporary victory -- we still have a long court fight ahead of us.
