Do you think Social Security benefits are too high?

Republican politicians do. An economist hand-picked by Republican politicians testified that last week:¹

Over and over, Republican politicians tell the truth about their plans to cut Social Security, and over and over the media lets them walk those plans back.

When 75% of the House Republican caucus signs on to a plan to raise the retirement age, the media barely mentions it.²

When VP Mike Pence says he wants to “replace” the New Deal,³ including Social Security… or presidential candidate Tim Scott calls Social Security a “beast” that we must “wrestle,”⁴ or presidential candidates Ron DeSantis⁵ and Nikki Haley⁶ pitch cutting Social Security for younger generations―so they pay in the same and get less in return―the media allows them all to turn the page.

Heck, when Donald Trump proposed cuts to Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid in every single budget he released as President,⁷ the media continued to peddle his lie that he won’t touch Social Security.

When we bring our voices together, we get results. If Republicans won’t stop trying to steal our earned benefits, we’re going to FORCE the media to notice that they’re trying.
