John,
You may have seen the recent news that a court has ordered yet another redrawing of the congressional districts here in New York. I wanted to share with you my thoughts on this development, but first, I need to ask if you can chip in a few dollars to support our campaign because fundraising now is more important than ever, given the uncertainty we're facing.

When I launched my first campaign for Congress in late 2021, I was running to flip a seat that President Trump had carried decisively. A few months later, the district lines were changed, and I found myself running in a district that President Biden had carried decisively. Then the lines changed AGAIN a few months after that, and I ended up running in one of the most competitive districts in the entire country.
Last week, we learned that the congressional lines in New York could change YET AGAIN. I do not know how this process will play out or how long it will take, but I do know two things based on lessons learned from last year's chaotic redistricting process.
First, I'll continue to speak from the heart. The district lines changed many times last election, but my message and my reason for running never did. We need politics that work for Upstate New York's working families, not greedy special interests and the politicians who sell us out. Whether I was in a deep red district, a deep blue district, or a deep purple district, I took that message to the voters and it resonated–so that's what I'll continue to do.
Second – and this is really, really important – we cannot afford to lose momentum. We need to be prepared for anything that is thrown our way, and the best way to do that is to continue raising the resources we will need to win this seat. In fact, last week's court ruling makes it more important than ever that we continue to work hard because when all is said and done, the person who wins here will be the person who has continued to push forward and continued to build a strong campaign in the face of uncertainty.
That's why I have to ask again, will you chip in to help us keep our momentum going?
