Fight for $15
**************************
John,
I'm sick and tired of the lies and disrespect from fast-food corporations. That's why I went on strike with hundreds of other fast-food workers in Los Angeles to demand dignity and respect on the job.
We won a historic fight here in California last year -- a law that would raise wages and give workers like me a seat at the table. But these corporations deceived voters and bought their way back onto the ballot.
But we're not waiting until 2024: here in LA, we're striking to support a new law that would give us the ability not to just exist in LA, but to thrive. Check it out >> [[link removed]]
Our strike is just the latest in a wave of strikes across the country. From Hollywood writers to hotel workers, from Starbucks baristas to UPS drivers, workers are saying ENOUGH. It's solidarity summer -- and we're coming for every CEO and corporation who disrespects workers like us.
When you see workers taking action this summer, it's not just to improve our own, individual working conditions at our job or to pass a single bill. It's to demand corporate accountability, legislative change, and respect for ALL working people everywhere. Spread the word and share in solidarity >> [[link removed]]
In unity,
