Once again, Mike Lawler sided with Kevin McCarthy and the most extreme faction of the Republican Party by refusing to denounce antisemitic and racist comments made by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (In case you missed it, RFK, Jr. is peddling an outrageous claim that COVID-19 was "ethnically targeted" to attack certain ethnic groups while sparing Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese people).

Immediately, Mondaire and other Democrats spoke up and denounced RFK, Jr.’s actions, but Lyin’ Lawler and other extremists in Kevin McCarthy’s GOP stayed silent.

Instead, they’re giving RFK, Jr. a platform to spread his dangerous views at a House Judiciary Committee hearing on Thursday.

This isn’t the first time Lyin’ Lawler has been tied to antisemitism. In 2019, the Chairman of the Rockland County GOP credited him with the strategy that produced a viral campaign video attacking Rockland’s orthodox Jewish community. Then, in his campaign for Congress, he received the maximum allowable donation from Carl Paladino, who expressed admiration for Adolf Hitler.

It’s time Lyin’ Lawler and House Republicans do their job and revoke RFK, Jr.’s invite to speak before Congress. He needs to stand up for the people of our district >>

We unequivocally condemn RFK, Jr.’s antisemitic and racist claims, and stand firmly with the Jewish and Chinese communities to resist hate in all its forms—no matter what political party the person spewing hatred belongs to.

Thank you for taking action,

Team Mondaire
