a step toward bringing ethics reform to SCOTUS

Whitehouse for Senate

I have great news, team.

This week in the Judiciary Committee, my Supreme Court Ethics, Recusal, and Transparency (SCERT) Act will be marked up – meaning my colleagues and I will meet to debate and consider amendments for the bill before it advances to the Senate floor. This means we’re a big step closer to my legislation becoming law.

If the Court won’t investigate its own self-inflicted ethics crises, Congress will act. The highest court in the land shouldn’t have the lowest ethical standards. Chip in $5 to support my work to bring an ethics overhaul to the Supreme Court >>

Democrats on the Judiciary Committee are ready to restore public trust in the Court and bring it into line with all the other branches of government and other federal judges.

Donate today to help my campaign reach our fundraising goal and support my work to put a binding code of ethics into place at the Supreme Court with a referee to enforce it.
