Protecting the right to vote is critical to the future of our Democracy.
Yet, this year, more than 150 bills designed to create roadblocks for
American voters were introduced in state legislatures across the country.

Now, in response to the growing threat of special interests and cynical
attempts to subvert our great democracy, the Freedom to Vote Act has been
reintroduced in Congress.

The Freedom to Vote Act (FTVA) would make elected leaders accountable to
all Americans - not just special interests. Passing FTVA will protect the
right to vote, end partisan gerrymandering, and decrease the power of
wealthy special interests in our government, helping to end America’s
