Dear Friend,

Since we launched our Vote No in August campaign canvass on May 11, we have knocked on over 50,000 doors!

Issue 1 threatens the fundamental principle of one person, one vote <[link removed]>, eroding our power to determine the direction of our state by imposing a 60% voting threshold for passing Constitutional Amendments and increasing the difficulty of placing issues on the ballot.

Our canvassers have been working across Ohio educating people about the upcoming special election; why they should vote against Issue 1; and explaining their options to vote.

We are also calling voters to let them know about the election and to make sure they are aware of recent changes to Ohio’s voter ID laws.

We are so grateful to supporters like you for helping to make this outreach possible

Here’s the challenge: We must continue recruiting, hiring and training staff and volunteers these crucial last twenty days before the election.

$50 reaches 25 people at their door with our "Vote No in August" message. This covers training, transportation, and campaign materials. So, your $50 investment translates into hundreds of voters ready to cast their ballots in support of democracy!

Friend, thousands of voters across the state need that added incentive to get out to vote.  Please act now to sponsor a canvasser today >> <[link removed]>

<[link removed]>YES, I’LL SPONSOR A CANVASSER! <[link removed]>

It’s been amazing to see the difference our trained and dedicated canvassers have already made.

With your help, we’ll be able to build on those successes — strengthening our democracy through voter participation, and building a better future for us all.
