We're reaching out to share a big moment with you! The 100% grassroots-governed Fund for Frontline Power (F4FP) announced their first slate of grantees, moving $5M to 48 grassroots organizations’ climate strategies. Read more about it on the F4FP website and here via the press release.

The Fund for Frontline Power is an autonomous fund that emerged from a movement action coordinated by Climate Justice Alliance, with support from key allies, in response to the first round of Bezos Earth Fund grants that moved the vast proportion of funds to big green organizations. At the request of movement groups, the Fund is housed at The Solutions Project. Governance of the fund is held by 13 grassroots movement leaders, and fund development has been supported by CJA, Solutions, and People’s Climate Innovation Center. 

BIG CONGRATS TO THE FUND FOR FRONTLINE POWER & ALL THE GRANTEES! This is a milestone in shifting resources and power to the frontlines.
