I was born into a family steeped in patriotism and military service. Taking care of our servicemen and women should be a bipartisan process, as those wearing the uniform deserve our unwavering support. Unfortunately, the GOP is playing politics with our military and those that have chosen to serve.

We’ve seen that extreme Republicans are holding our democracy hostage and stalling any progress in what matters most. Just last week, Kevin McCarthy and his allies hijacked a bipartisan process at the expense of our armed services.

We know we tell you over and over again how important these elections are – but this could be the most consequential elections of our lifetimes. Our democracy, personal rights, and everything in between could be on the chopping block.
