Representing Middle and Southwest Georgia, rural communities hold a special place in my heart.

I know that for far too long and far too many times, our farming and rural communities have been shortchanged. During my time in Congress, I’ve worked to change that.

I’ve fought hard to secure hundreds of thousands of dollars in federal funding for rural communities to improve public safety and health care services.

I’ve fought to expand and increase broadband internet access for our rural communities because in 2023, internet access isn’t a luxury — it’s a necessity.

I’ve fought against proposed cuts in investments in rural communities to protect our farmers and agriculture industry.
