I can’t believe we’re already one month out from Election Day.

Here’s where we stand. More people are seeing Dan Lipinski for who he truly is: a Republican ally who doesn’t stand for the same values as the community he serves. Issue after issue, from health care to Social Security to climate to reproductive rights, my opponent sounds a lot more like a Fox News talking head than a Democrat. I mean, this is a guy who voted against the Affordable Care Act, and refused to support President Obama for re-election!

IL-03 deserves better, and if we have the resources we need to reach voters, we will win this election. As of the last report, the fundraising gap between us and Dan Lipinski is closing, but not closed. With one month to go, will you chip in right now and help win this thing?

The truth is, it’s hard to keep up with Lipinski in campaign cash. Unlike him, I’m not taking checks from corporate PACs or federal lobbyists -- and I’m certainly not accepting help from shady groups that are funded by big Republican donors.

I’m relying on people like you to help fund a campaign that can take on the Chicago machine -- and win. We fell just 2% short last time around, and I’m going to do everything in my power to make sure that doesn’t happen again.

Our final FEC deadline before the March 17th primary is coming up next week -- will you chip in to help make sure we’ve got all the resources we need to cross the finish line?
