John, pro-choice advocates in Ohio are making major progress, but they need your support immediately. Here's the lowdown:

FIRST: A six-week abortion ban was passed in Ohio and is currently tied up in the courts.

THEN: Pro-choice advocates gathered nearly DOUBLE the number of signatures they needed to put abortion access directly on the ballot, which, if passed, would strike down the ban. (And we know that when abortion is on the ballot, abortion wins.)

BUT NOW: Republicans are trying to cheat and change the law during a special election they called for Aug. 8 so that the abortion amendment would FAIL.
