The working class in America has lost 25 percent of wealth since 1980. Is it any wonder that so many people are angry and disillusioned, that they feel as though life was better for past generations?
I’ve visited the Rust Belt numerous times over the years. Whether it was in Lordstown, Ohio, or Johnstown, Pennsylvania, I heard the same thing from workers: Plants shutting down. Thousands of jobs lost. Communities devastated. And our government sat by and let it happen.
