When your candidate is Cory Gardner, you
can’t expect to win on your record. So you try the next best thing: attack
the opposition.
Mitch McConnell and the National Republican Senatorial Committee are
trying to save Gardner’s seat by demonizing Andrew Romanoff. Last fall
they rented a billboard comparing Andrew to—brace yourself—AOC.
The Republicans’ latest scare tactic: equating Andrew with Bernie Sanders.
In a new online assault, the GOP calls Romanoff and Sanders “one in the
same” [sic].
Andrew’s “radical” agenda: the Green New Deal, a higher minimum wage, and
Medicare for All.
[ [link removed] ]Sanders and Romanoff: One in the same.
The GOP’s attempt to manipulate Colorado’s Democratic primary would be
flattering if it weren’t so transparent. McConnell and Gardner plainly
hope that Coloradans will reject an “environmental enthusiast”—another
accurate attack—like Andrew Romanoff.

contributing $5 or more to our campaign right now.
We’re not backing down from this fight; we’re doubling down. While the
climate crisis rages, wages stagnate, and health care costs soar, the most
radical thing you could do—much like Cory Gardner—is nothing at all.
