John, I wish I had better news to share, but I just checked the numbers on our $20,000 mid-month goal, and I noticed we came up short.

Missing our goals at this stage means we miss out on valuable campaign resources ahead of the primary. It also means we miss our chance to reach thousands of supporters on TV, online, over the phone, and in person.

But hey, I am a glass-half-full kind of guy.

We may have missed our mark, but if we can raise another $3,000 before midnight tonight, we can make up this shortfall and stay on track to send Tate Reeves packing. Can I count on every grassroots donor reading this email to chip in a few bucks?

I’ve said it before: defeating Reeves won’t be easy. But if we work hard enough over the next four months and hit every fundraising goal, we can pull this off.
