After the SCOTUS decision, Biden cancels $40 billion in debt.

Just over two weeks after the Supreme Court struck down Biden's plan to cancel over $400 billion in student loan debt, his administration wiped out nearly $40 billion for over 800,000 borrowers. The debt was canceled for borrowers with more than 20 years worth of outstanding payments.

While lawmakers want to eliminate child labor laws, a 16-year-old died in an industrial accident while working in a sawmill in Wisconsin earlier this month. The incident points to the growing trend of child labor law violations across the country.

Pennsylvania flash floods leave 5 dead, 2 missing

Five people have died due to the flooding, and two children are currently missing. The two children, a nine-month-old and a two-year-old, were swept away from the family car on their way to a barbecue on Saturday.
