Hey john, did you see the news last week?
“FDA approves first over-the-counter birth control pill in the U.S.”
— NBC News
This is a big step forward in making access to reproductive healthcare easier and more affordable for millions of Americans.
But john, don’t forget that a conservative judge in Texas struck down FDA approval for a commonly used abortion pill. That’s right: unelected judges, not the federal agency responsible for public health, are deciding what medication is permissible or not.
Tina is on the front lines of the fight to protect reproductive rights. She introduced the Protecting Access to Medication Abortion Act so that activist judges couldn’t impose their right-wing, anti-abortion ideology on the millions of women who deserve their fundamental right to choose when and how to have a family.
We have to fight tooth and nail to defend abortion and birth control access. The attacks on reproductive rights are coming from all sides, and now is the time to join Tina in her efforts to expand abortion access.
Please, sign on as a citizen co-sponsor of Tina’s legislation, the Protecting Access to Medication Abortion Act, and demand Congress pass this bill as soon as possible.
Thanks for stepping up today. We have to raise our voices and take action to protect abortion access before it's stripped back even more.
