Dear friends,
BYD has a lot to celebrate this summer: we were named Chapter of the Year by the New York State Young Democrats ([link removed]) , we pushed to put young people at the center of the political conversation ([link removed]) , and we fought hard to support proud Democrats ([link removed]) in this year's City Council primaries.
But we've still got crucial work to protect democracy and win the fight for a better Brooklyn this year, and we need your help!
That's why we're inviting you to both celebrate and prepare for the future with us.

We've got some crucial fights coming in the months ahead, including the November City Council election, when we'll be supporting Democrats in Southern Brooklyn and elsewhere against competitive Republican opponents ([link removed]) .
We can win these races and ensure committed Democrats serve Brooklyn in the Council, but we can't do it without your support. Plus, you'll get to enjoy drinks and talk politics with the coolest crew in Brooklyn.
Tickets start at just $30 ([link removed]) and include a year-long BYD membership for anyone 36 or younger. The first 25 donors who give at the $55 level or higher will also get a limited-edition OG BYD t-shirt!
