Patriot,

Thanks to your phone calls, e-postcards, and emails, the amendment to repeal the indefinite detention of Americans without due process passed the U.S. House for the first time last Friday.

In previous legislative sessions, this very same amendment has passed the Senate, but failed in the House, which means now that we’ve won the House vote, there is a great chance we can get this across the finish line.

We’ve come too far – to restore the constitutional right of every American to due process of law – to stop now.


You, Patriot, can give people a trial.

You, Patriot, can give people a judge.

You, Patriot, can give people a jury.

You, Patriot, have the chance to end indefinite detention in the United States of America . . . indefinitely.

That’s what can happen if we pass this amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act.

We’ve won in House. Now let’s win in the Senate!

The vote for “cloture” (moving the bill forward to debate) could happen tonight – so send your Senate directive right now.

And if, after you send your directive to the Senate, you follow up with a contribution to Campaign for Liberty, your support makes it possible for C4L to increase the pressure by bringing this message to more patriots like you.

Identifying and reaching out to bring in new members and supporters isn’t free. Neither is mobilizing and delivering your petitions to the Capitol.

But the more resources we have, the more we can do, so if possible, after signing your e-postcard directive to the Senate, follow up by chipping in a contribution to help us win this battle for good!
