Last time I was at the airport, I saw parents wrangling kids for long-awaited family vacations, folks traveling for business meetings — people just trying to get where they needed to go.
You know what doesn’t help them? Delays. Cancellations. And airlines that just won’t cut customers a break.
John, I know that this summer has been tough on airline travelers. Mass cancellations, mishandled and lost baggage, flight delays, and airlines’ refusal to grant refunds are causing major headaches. I’m using every tool at my disposal to help make this system work better for folks who fly.
Airlines shouldn’t get to exploit unfair and deceptive practices like overbooking flights or refusing vouchers or refunds on cancellations based on technicalities — and you deserve leaders who will find solutions.
