Dear Friend,
Advances in Alzheimer's disease
biomarkers. Technology and dementia. New approaches to address
caregiver burden and stress.
These are just a few of the topics
being discussed at this week's Alzheimer's Association International
Conference® (AAIC®), where right at this moment, the world's
leading dementia scientists are sharing breaking research discoveries
that may lead to new methods of treatment and prevention.
Although you may not be here in
Amsterdam with us, your commitment as a member of our Alzheimer's
Association community is evident in every session and workshop taking
place. Along with funding care, support and cutting-edge research,
your first gift today will make events like this possible - and
ensure the breakthroughs in care and research discussed here continue
long after this year's AAIC ends.

Once again, AAIC is pushing the
envelope and driving progress, advancing our understanding of
Alzheimer's by exploring biomarkers, discovering potential ways to
reduce risk and working to move promising treatments and diagnostic
tools forward into clinical testing.
This is a particularly promising
moment for the dementia science community. There are now two Food and
Drug Administration (FDA)-approved treatments that signify amazing
progress. These drugs go after the underlying biology of the disease
process and can slow its progression in people living with early
Alzheimer's. But only with your support can we deliver on the promise
of what we learn here at AAIC.

Each AAIC is a new beginning and an
opportunity for us. Each year, the world looks to AAIC to see what
progress is taking place. With millions more Americans expected to be
living with Alzheimer's in the coming years, it's extremely urgent we
keep making progress. I'm grateful that you've taken a strong interest
in our work, and today I'm asking you to make your first gift to
continue accelerating global research while enhancing care and support
for families impacted by Alzheimer's.

Thank you in advance for furthering
our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia
- by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and
early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
I'm excited to think about the
exchange of ideas happening this week at AAIC. As you read about new
breakthroughs, there's a good chance many of them may have started
with the people at this year's conference. That's not only a
reflection on those researchers and scientists - it's also a
reflection on you and the strength of your commitment.
With appreciation,
Donna McCullough

Officer

P.S. Friend, AAIC is
the one time a year when the world's leading scientists and
researchers assemble to share and discuss breaking research
discoveries that will lead to methods of prevention and treatment, and
improvements in diagnosis for Alzheimer's and all other dementias.
It's also a time when your strongest possible support is urgently
needed. Thank you for your first gift today.

Your donation will strengthen our efforts
to advance Alzheimer's care, support and research. From face-to-face
support to online education programs and promising global research
initiatives, your gift makes a difference in the lives of all those
affected by Alzheimer's and other dementias in your community and
across the world. Thank you for your continued support.
