Dear John,
Last week, when we told you about our AWESOME quarterly filing, we clearly hit a nerve with Rep. Bergman.
Shortly after our email went out, his campaign sent an emergency press release touting his own fundraising numbers – and trying to muddy the water around our success.
So let’s set the record straight:
1) The fact that a sitting Congressman feels the need to respond to our fundraising numbers proves that Jack is feeling the heat.
2) By referencing our success, yet refusing to use Callie’s name, Bergman’s team is showing us that they fear how competitive Callie and her campaign will be.
3) Rep. Bergman seems to think that his best course of action is to attack a military spouse, veterans’ advocate, and mom of two, but there’s nothing honorable about name-calling and mudslinging.
We’re extremely proud of our grassroots support, and nothing that Rep. Bergman says will take that away.
Fortunately, there’s a lot of race left to be run before we take on Rep. Bergman next November.
If we keep up the pressure like we did these past few months, it won’t matter how many angry press releases his team sends. That’s the impact of a people-powered campaign.
So John, please make a contribution today to help us keep up this momentum and keep Rep. Bergman on his toes.
