Happy President's Day!!
Yesterday, here in Florida at the annual running of the NASCAR Daytona 500, America and the world saw President Donald Trump receive one of the warmest welcomes any American president has ever received at any sporting event. This sits in sharp contrast to the rude greeting he received at the World Series four short months ago in Washington, D.C. Since then, our president has realized that while he was not exactly welcomed with warm arms inside the Beltway, where the Swamp Creatures live, he does quite well in the heartland, where America lives. Of course, NASCAR fans will always have an affinity to a president who gives them a tax cut. For those who don't know, NASCAR grew out of the tax evasion business of bootlegging (i.e., illegally transporting for sale) moonshine (i.e., untaxed and therefore illegal alcohol). Bootleggers built faster and faster cars, designed to outrun the cars of the revenue agents and police trying to arrest them. Naturally, boys will be boys, and they started racing each other to see who built the fastest cars. From those humble beginnings arose NASCAR, and the sport and its followers are not huge fans of big government or socialist policies. VERY different from inside-the-Beltway baseball fans!

And locally...

Jeff Mosseso reported at length regarding last week's Gun Show. He was very enthusiastic about the people who attended, and the fantastic reception that Donald Trump and the Republican Party received from the Gun Show attendees. His report is too long for this space, but here are a few gems worthy of reporting --
BEST HAT SEEN:
"Relax Idiots - It's Just A Red Hat"
NEW MAGA SLOGAN:
"My A$$ Just Got Acquitted"
BEST Q & A:
Q-"I want to change my party. I'm a Democrat and I no longer want to be. How do I change that?"
A-"See Ray Mello at the next table!"
...AND HE DID!!!
