John, as we kick off the summer months, I wanted to reach out personally to give you a campaign update.

It hasn’t even been seven full months since the new year began, but our race here in OH-13 is already in full swing. Over the past few months, multiple, non-partisan election forecasters have called our district a pure toss-up and a must-win seat for reclaiming the Democratic House Majority.

And on top of that, numerous Republican groups have already launched attack ad campaigns against us.

It couldn’t be more clear that this race is shaping up to be one of the most competitive in the country, once again.

But, John, I believe in this campaign. I believe in the movement we are continuing to build here in Northeast Ohio. And I believe in our ability to continue to deliver real, lasting change for our community and our country.

However, in a race this competitive, the only way we’re going to be successful is if we come together – and stick together – as a grassroots team.
