MMMC is for young people with access to wealth and class privilege (ages 18-35) who dream of a future in which land, wealth and power are equitably distributed and are ready to take action to turn that vision into reality. For more than 25 years, MMMC has helped connect young people with access to wealth to the social, racial, and environmental justice movements that urgently need our hearts, hands, and dollars. This four-day conference is designed to support, challenge, and engage participants through a series of skill-building workshops, confidential personal storytelling, engaging panels, racial caucusing, and small group discussions.
Potential Pod Leaders: save the dates Nov. 8-12. If you’ve led a praxis group, been to MMMC, or attended another RG retreat, we’d love you’d to join us a day early to prepare to be a Pod Leader! Pod Leaders are an essential part of MMMC. They warmly welcome newcomers into RG, model thoughtful member behavior in a cross-class space, and create a “home base” for participants to process new learnings. Pod Leaders join MMMC a day early for a Reflective Leadership training on November 8. If you want to be a pod leader, please fill out both the Pod Leader Application *and* the registration form for MMMC 2023.
Note on COVID safety: Because we are gathering with people from across the country, participants are asked to wear masks when not eating/drinking, to take a PCR test before travel, and rapid test daily. MMMC is in-person only this year, but RG will continue to have online-only programming as well.
Please register and/or forward this email to 3 friends inviting them to attend with you!
