**Supporters needed to

We need members of the community to come out to speak out
against harassment taking place on the equity committee. The left uses
aggressive and inappropriate behavior to undermine the work of the
committee. Why are they so worried about the committee finally taking
a deep dive into County statistics?
Some examples of stall tactics and intimidation:
- Making public the private contact information of volunteer
citizen commissioners as a means of harassing and silencing them.
County Board Supervisor Berg shared private cell phone numbers and
emails of committee commissioners on his Facebook page, urging
citizens to contact them.
- Breaking code of conduct with outburst and yelling at fellow
commissioners during meetings.
- One commissioner calling other commissioners urging them not
to show for meetings so that a vote cannot take place.
Commissioner Solis called a special meeting to discuss the
possibility of the renaming of an award to be given out, something
within his right to do. He did not want to use the regularly schedule
meeting time because he did not want to cut into the time allotted for
the presentation and discussion of the data findings.
The community came out with some very deserving suggestions.
The committee appreciated the valuable input of the citizens in the
naming of the award.
Every member of the commission gets a vote. If a
commissioner does not agree, they can vote against changing the name.
Rather than allowing a civil discussion to occur. One commissioner
flew off the handle and behaved in a very uncivil and aggressive
manner.
This disgraceful behavior cannot continue if this committee
is expected to move forward with real recommendations for the
County.
Paid for by the Republican Party of Kenosha
County.
