Here’s the dumbest fashion trend of the day, and it’s supported by the legacy media, with its effort to turn men into women: men baring their midriffs.
The New York Times issued a piece called “Men Are Baring Midriffs in Crop Tops.” Apparently, some of these men are cropping their shirts at home; others are buying them from stores.
Straight men are not doing this, thinking to themselves, “You know what I’m going to do? Hang my belly out here.” Those aren’t called crop tops when straight men do it. They are just too fat for their shirts.
Every picture from this story is about a gay man who’s baring his belly.

No one wants to see the midriff of a man. This just comes from the push that all that is female must become male.
“It is often the case that, as summer rolls around and temperatures rise, so do hemlines,” the author writes. “As men have embraced shorter shorts over the past few years, some have also started to wear shorter shirts — specifically, crop tops.”
“Though men have been known to wear stomach-baring garments when they exercise or go to the beach, lately crop tops can be seen on guys at stores and bars,” she continues. “More modest styles hit right at a waistline, but many are cropped short enough to expose a navel.”
Just stop. Is this truly necessary?

The gay community is into this? Do what you want to do. But don’t pretend this is a broad spectrum phenomenon that is also happening among straight guys because it isn’t.
It is ridiculous and you look silly. I don’t really care whether you’re allowed to say that. You look like an idiot. You look stupid.
They found a 27-year-old straight man in New York who is doing this and said, “My girlfriend always makes fun of me because sometimes she just wants a shirt to wear to bed, but they’re all crop tops.”
He should make fun of himself — and his girlfriend should run for the hills.
