Greetings John,  I love my hometown of Brainerd, Minnesota, but that doesn't mean we don't have struggles. Lots and lots of struggles.  There is seemingly an endless list of things that need doing. Basic, routine, things we could easily do if we put our minds to it.  But what's this? A free puppy! Why, you don't say....  The latest distraction here is a proposal for a children's museum that comes wrapped in the promise of state funding, lot of tourism dollars, and good living for all.   No matter your city's size or wealth, you have the capacity to make your town stronger and more prosperous starting right now. We're all on your team.  Do great things this week!  -Chuck  PS - Jacob wants me to remind you that our book club discussion on Chapter 3 is wrapping up in a couple of weeks. If you want to talk Strong Towns: A Bottom-Up Revolution to Rebuild American Prosperity with me and other revolutionaries, head over to community.strongtowns.org. |
