[1]Lucas Kunce for U.S. Senate

We got some big news over the weekend,
John.

On Saturday, every Senate candidate across the country was required to
submit their second quarter fundraising numbers to the Federal Election
Commission. Here’s how it shook out in Missouri’s U.S. Senate race:

[ [link removed]- ]2023 Fundraising for U.S. Senate in Missouri: Lucas Kunce vs. Josh
Hawley. National Republicans are bailing out Josh Hawley! Lucas Kunce
raised $2.3M -- 100% from actual donations with an average of $33. Josh
Hawley raised $2.1 -- with 65% from actual donations and 35% from
transfers from GOP groups. FEC Data | 2023 Reports for Candidate
Committees as of July 15, 2023.

Our campaign set another fundraising record — $2.3 million raised since
January, all thanks to real people just like you. That’s the most ever
raised in the first 6 months by a U.S. Senate challenger in Missouri.

Lucas + our whole team are blown away by the support you’ve shown this
campaign over the last six months and we’re so proud to be a truly
people-powered movement.

But here’s the rub: Over these last six months, national GOP insiders and
mega-donors have done everything in their power to bail out Josh Hawley.

FIRST: After a poll showed Hawley’s approval underwater with Missouri
voters — at just 42% — insiders at the National Republican Senatorial
Committee have now spent months attacking Lucas.

THEN: National Republican groups transferred hundreds of thousands of
dollars into Hawley’s campaign to bail him out after our grassroots
movement outraised him.

AND NOW: GOP mega-donors have launched a brand new Super PAC to prop up
Hawley’s flailing campaign and fund even more attacks against Lucas.

We already knew that national Republicans view the movement we’re building
together as a threat, but this makes it clearer than ever: They know Lucas
Kunce can defeat Josh Hawley.

If these are the kind of resources they’re willing to spend in the
off-year to make Josh Hawley look strong, it’s only a matter of time
before they start spending even more to ramp up their attacks.

That’s why we need your help today,
John. Lucas launched this campaign in January
so we’d have time to raise the money we need to mount a serious challenge
to a corrupt, incumbent politician like Hawley — and the best way we’ll be
able to do that is by keeping up our record-breaking grassroots momentum.

We don’t need our grassroots supporters to match these giant mega-donor
checks. But we do need the resources to get Lucas’ message in front of
voters and continue building a winning campaign. Any amount makes a
difference.

[ [link removed]- ]So please, will you rush a donation of $10 or whatever
you can afford to our grassroots movement to elect Lucas Kunce? Lucas
doesn’t take a cent from corporate PACs or any corrupt exec responsible
for stripping our country for parts — he’s relying on real people like you
to power our campaign forward.

This is our chance to defeat Josh Hawley and finally take Missouri’s U.S.
Senate seat back for everyday people — and we can’t afford to waste it.

Thanks for all your help,

— Team Lucas Kunce
