Nikki recently sent over our reelection campaign’s Official Priorities Survey and asked people like you to share your top priorities as we map out our strategy for the weeks and months ahead.
We received an outpouring of thoughtful responses, so we wanted to take a moment to share what’s been top of mind for folks across our grassroots movement:
Jean wrote that we must include climate-smart regenerative agriculture practices in the 2023 Farm Bill — comprehensive legislation that Nikki is working hard to pass in Congress.
Steve expressed concerns about the lack of access to affordable housing, with Tina and Susanna agreeing that finding affordable housing options for the most vulnerable members of our society is critically important.
And Bharat summed up his top priorities by simply responding: “All of the above.”
Nikki is working across the aisle in Congress to deliver meaningful results for Jean, Steve, Susanna, Bharat, folks in IL-13, and families across the country.
Just last month, she launched “Farm Bill 101,” an initiative highlighting how the food programs and agricultural research she’s advocating for in the Farm Bill will benefit communities across Central and Southern Illinois.
