Ben here with a quick Presidents Day check-in! This month, Mary Gay launched her 2020 bid for re-election and petition season is upon us, so we’ve all been busy over here at Team Scanlon. I wanted to check in this morning with you personally to make sure we start the week off strong.

National Republican groups are gearing up for their next dark money spend against Mary Gay, so it’s up to our team of incredibly talented staff and organizers to keep the record straight.

Our team -- and Mary Gay especially -- know that there is SO much more on the ballot than just her name. Look no further than Trump’s proposed 2021 budget cuts. Healthcare, social safety net programs, our environment, and a solution to the burden of the student debt crisis are all on the chopping block.

Mary Gay is a champion for families in southeast Pennsylvania. She’s always been a strong advocate and will continue to fight hard at any GOP attempt to hurt Pennsylvanians (even if it means she’ll get hit with far-right attack ads for it).

We need to keep Mary Gay in Congress, but we can’t do that without YOU. If we’re going to go toe-to-toe with the national Republicans trying to unseat Mary Gay and stop our progress, it’s your contributions that will keep us fighting the good fight.
