Dear John,

The ranked choice voting (RCV) movement has had big wins in recent months – from placing a statewide RCV measure on Oregon’s 2024 ballot, to trailblazing pro-RCV language in Connecticut's newly passed state Voting Rights Act, to successful high-profile RCV elections in New York City and Arlington!

These wins are only possible thanks to the movement’s rapid growth: At FairVote alone, we’ve hired EIGHT new staff members since February! Read on for more about our new staff members, as well as exciting updates to our website!

Changes to website

We want the FairVote website to be a one-stop shop for all the information you could ever want about ranked choice voting – including data on its impacts, where it’s used in the U.S., and best practices for RCV election administration. That’s why we’ve added three pages that were previously housed on the FairVote Action site:

On the FairVote Action website, check out the new Wins and Opportunities page – which highlights our movement's latest victories and ways to get involved right now!

Thank you for making this year’s wins possible, and please consider a donation so we can secure even more wins this fall.

Lan Nguyen,
Acting CEO of FairVote
