🏆The UN SDG Action Awards Finalists Have Been Announced!

The stage is set as global leaders descend on Rome, Italy, for the 2023 United Nations SDG Action Awards Ceremony, held in partnership with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, where activists, mobilizers, and changemakers will be celebrated for their work in scaling up sustainability and social justice efforts around the world.

Among the participants who will be recognized in Rome are IFAD Goodwill Ambassadors Idris Elba and Sabrina Dhowre Elba, Stefano Boeri Architetti’s Green Obsession, World Cleanup Day, and the International Rescue Committee’s Signpost initiative. Finalists will be recognized and winners will be announced at our flagship Awards event in Rome, Italy, on 24 July 2023 at 18:30 CET as we celebrate and honour SDG changemakers from around the world. The Awards ceremony will also cap off the first day of the 2023 UN Food Systems Summit +2 Stocktaking Moment, hosted by the Government of Italy at the premises of the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations (FAO) with the collaboration of the UN's Rome-based agencies, the UN Food Systems Coordination Hub, and the wider UN system.
