• “The FBI has now become an adversary of freedom in the eyes of many Americans, misappropriated for partisan political purposes, abusing its national security powers for the suppression of free expression and religious dissent and for the harassment of law-abiding citizens,” writes Bradbury.

Masquerade: Under the guise of a new “ethics” bill, leftists in Congress hope to rein in the conservative justices on the bench. 

• “[T]he Left is following an organized strategy to demonize Supreme Court decisions it doesn’t like by suggesting that the justices responsible for them are unethical, corrupt, or biased,” argues Heritage senior legal fellow Thomas Jipping.

Up, up, and away: The White House and corporate media might be celebrating the latest inflation news showing a 3% increase in the consumer price index in June, but Heritage research fellow EJ Antoni analyzed the data. His verdict: 

• “[I]nflation is not trending down to the Fed’s 2% target, but has steadily risen at about a 3% annualized rate,” Antoni says.
