Some troops have chosen dog tags with Bible verses on them such as Joshua 1:9 ("Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid . . . the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.") or Psalm 27:3 ("Though my enemies attack me, I will not fear . . . .").
But an extreme anti-Christian group has pressured the military to ban displaying Bible verses on dog tags alongside military insignias.
The Army relented, ordering "ALL biblical references" be stripped from dog tags and other military gear.
Bible verses on dog tags don't violate anyone's Constitutional rights, but banning them does.
Our legal team is preparing to send FOIA requests and legal letters to the military in an effort to have this unlawful order rescinded.
These soldiers have the right to carry their Christian faith on their dog tags beside their military insignia.
