Fighting Back Against the SEC & ESG 

This week, the House Financial Services Committee held a hearing to examine environmental, social, and governance (ESG) policy in financial regulation. Since Democrats do not have the votes to advance their far-left environmental and social policy through Congress, the Biden Administration has weaponized the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to force their agenda on the American people.

This week, I was proud to support H.R. 2670, the National Defense Authorization Act of 2024. This legislation is a major win for our servicemembers and their families, and refocuses our military on national defense rather than woke politics.

 Ends the Biden Administration's woke military policies. 

 Fully funds our national defense while cutting costs and improving efficiency.

 Supports servicemembers and their families.

 Strengthens oversight and fiscal accountability at the Pentagon.

 Strengthens strategic deterrence, lethal capabilities, and promotes innovation.

 Counters aggression from the Chinese Communist Party.

 Provides Department of Defense support in securing the border.

Leading the Fight Against the Unaccountable CFPB 

I led an amicus brief with 131 of my colleagues challenging the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's unconstitutional funding structure.

Federal agencies should be accountable to Congress and the American people. House Republicans will keep fighting to ensure rogue bureaucracies, like the CFPB, finally are.
