Patriot,
Several months ago, you stopped a horrible censorship bill dead
in its tracks.
Thanks to your petitions, emails, and phone calls, a radical
online censorship scheme called the RESTRICT Act, which had been
expected to sail through Congress and be signed into law, never
got off the ground in the U.S. Senate.
But now, the sponsor of the bill, Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA), has
doubled down on pushing its passage, and sources in D.C. are
reporting he plans to try to slip it into the National Defense
Authorization Act (NDAA).
What is the RESTRICT Act?
. . . It's the most terrifying piece of legislation in years, if
not the most terrifying piece of legislation ever introduced in
American history.
It would give the government the ability to target anyone they
deem as a national security risk - regular people like you and me
- and allow them to remotely access every piece of electronics we
own, from our computers and cell phones to the camera on the
front porch.
And if they find you in violation, they can seize your property,
fine you one million dollars, and imprison you for 20 years.
Thanks to your efforts, the momentum for this dangerous bill was
stopped cold a couple of months ago.
But just days ago, Senator Warner bitterly complained that
opposition to his censorship scheme "slowed a bit of our
momentum" and blamed "aggressive lobbying" for halting its
passage.
What actually happened was grassroots Americans like you
discovered how dangerous the bill would be.
That's why Washington politicians are looking to sneak the bill
into the NDAA as an amendment.
Tell your senators right now: OPPOSE the RESTRICT Act, whether as
a stand-alone bill or as an amendment to the NDAA!

The "RESTRICT" Act would not just destroy free speech on social
media. . .
It would destroy Free Speech in America - period.
It's our patriotic duty to speak out . . . while we still CAN.
Certainly, that means spreading the word, Patriot.
You can help your Campaign for Liberty get the word out by simply
forwarding this email widely.
But it's absolutely critical you click here and voice your
opposition to the RESTRICT Act, and DEMAND this dangerous bill be
kept OUT of the NDAA!
This is nothing less than the complete destruction of the First
Amendment. This bill would give the government express power to
control public speech.
Disguised as an "anti-TikTok" bill, what the RESTRICT Act would
actually do is strangle free speech.
You may not be a fan of TikTok, but the RESTRICT Act isn't really
about TikTok.
The bill actually says the government would be allowed to ban ANY
app if any of its users were believed to have conducted "foreign
interference in American elections."
Note that "foreign interference in American elections" was the
tagline for the fraudulent campaign, perpetrated by the
Washington establishment and its cronies in mass media, to
delegitimize the Trump presidency.
And in case that wasn't sufficiently vague and overbroad, the
bill even says it can force social media companies to censor
users if their speech appeared to be "trying to steer policy in a
foreign government's favor."
So, if you're using Facebook, Twitter, or ANY platform to speak
in a manner the government deems "steering policy decisions in a
foreign government's favor" - like, say, opposing the U.S. proxy
war in Ukraine - the government could force these platforms to
ban you . . . and much, much worse!

There is a plot afoot to sneak the RESTRICT Act into the NDAA.
And you and I must act quickly to squash this latest attempt to
chip away at the Constitution. The House approved their version
of the NDAA last week, and the Senate is expected to vote as
early as this week before leaving for the rest of the summer.

By sending your directive to your U.S. Senators right now, you
can blow the whistle on this scheme and stop the RESTRICT Act
once again!
And after you send your directive, please consider chipping in a
contribution to Campaign for Liberty to help us mobilize more
patriots to defend the First Amendment.
When politicians in Washington receive your directives, the first
thing they ask is: "How many people are upset about this?"
Every bit of support we receive helps us reach more people,
generate more outcry, and answer this question more powerfully.
We know in these difficult times, our supporters can't afford to
make large contributions every time we ask, but every bit does
help.
So if you agree the mobilization of patriots on the critical
issues we engage in every week is worthwhile, please consider
supporting our effort with a contribution, which will magnify our
ability and ongoing efforts to defend the Constitution and Bill
of Rights.
