Friend of Israel,
I wanted to alert you to some important news from Capitol Hill.
This Wednesday, Israeli President Isaac Herzog will be in Washington to address a joint session of Congress to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the statehood of Israel and reaffirm the U.S.-Israel relationship.
On the legislative front, the House just passed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which includes $500 million for missile defense cooperation, $50 million for joint defense research and development, and $47.5 million for joint anti-tunnel cooperation through 2026.
Later this summer, Congress will consider the State and Foreign Operations funding bill, which already passed the House Appropriations Committee, and includes $3.3 billion in vital security aid to Israel while rejecting new political conditions or restrictions on this funding that would undermine Israel’s security.
All these examples of strong bipartisan support for the U.S.-Israel relationship…which helps keep America and Israel safe...would not happen without the investment and support from pro-Israel activists like you.

That is why I hope you will act today to join AIPAC today before our July fundraising deadline.
