My campaign manager Carole just called me with a fundraising update. She said we’re falling far behind where we need to be to hit our mid-month milestone.

John, I hate that our political system is based on money. I’m trying to reform the Supreme Court in part so that no case like Citizens United can ever again deliver our political system to mega-donors and corporate PACs.

But the reality is, we need to win in order to enact those types of reforms. And right now, winning takes money. Republicans understand that (they created this system!), and they’re raking in a lot of money to suppress the vote and turn Georgia red again.
