Sorry to email you on a Saturday, but this is important. There’s a lot going on right now in our target states.

In Alabama, efforts to redraw fair maps are underway, and our grantees are working hard to ensure that this time, the proposed congressional districts accurately represent Black Alabamians.

In Mississippi, the governor’s race is heating up, in West Virginia, they’re preparing for a marquee U.S. Senate race, and in Oklahoma, their conservative state leaders continue to make national headlines for some of the most racist and regressive efforts in the country.

All of this is to say that tonight, before our first mid-month deadline of the quarter expires, it would really mean a lot to earn your support.
