Look, asking for money is my least favorite part of running for office. I’d much rather be spending my time trying to solve problems for families and working people throughout Maine. That’s why I ran for Congress–to bring good-paying jobs to Maine, to strengthen our national defense, and to be a tireless advocate for the state I have always been proud to call home.

Nevertheless, we have a critical fundraising deadline coming up. My team set a $10,000 mid-month fundraising goal so we could have the resources to expand our voter outreach around Maine and correct the record on the GOP’s attacks against me. But, my team just told me that we’re not on pace to meet our goal with only a few hours left until our deadline.

So, John,as one of my top grassroots supporters, I wanted to reach out to you personally.
