I know it’s the weekend -- but I had to reach out before it’s too late.

I just reviewed my first finance update of the month, and I’m sorry to report that House Democrats are still falling short of our important fundraising deadline.

Since you’re one of our best grassroots supporters in your area I just had to reach out to see if you could chip in and help close the gap.

Let me be absolutely clear: We cannot afford to miss this goal.

Last year, Republicans outraised and outspent us across the board -- and if we let them do it again, we could lose our shot to win back the House.

So please, if you could chip in $5 -- or anything you can spare -- before midnight tomorrow, I’d be so grateful.
