➡️ TEAM PAGOP UPDATE ⬇️

Dear friend,

Josh Shapiro and Harrisburg Democrats claim to want the best for
underprivileged students in Pennsylvania.

Their actions completely contradict their rhetoric. The Lifeline scholarships
proposed in the Senate budget would have given children and parents in the
worst public school districts in Pennsylvania the opportunity to use
state-funded vouchers to get a better private education. The Governor promised
voters on the campaign trail and Republicans in the State Senate funding for
these vouchers. He reneged on his promise as soon as teachers unions got
involved.

Shapiro, who went to an elite private school himself, understands the
importance of a quality education but decided to side with special interests
instead of our most vulnerable children. Shapiro lied to Pennsylvanians and
cost many of these children the opportunity for success.

We cannot idly stand by and allow this to go unnoticed. We need to spread the
truth about Shapiro and the Democrats and work to elect our judicial nominees
on November 7th. Stand and fight with the PAGOP to get strong and honest
leaders elected, not hypocritical Democrats.

In government, as in life, a person who cannot keep their word is a person not
worth trusting.

During his campaign, Gov. Josh Shapiro promised the people of Pennsylvania
many things — that he was an independent Democrat not beholden to special
interests, that he supported school choice for our students, and that his
energy policy would protect jobs and lower consumer prices. (Broad + Liberty)

charges and one violation of gun laws. He will appear in a Delaware federal

The U.S. national debt
<[link removed]>
has increased by $1 trillion in the five weeks since President Biden signed a
bill into law that effectively turns off the debt ceiling until 2025.

According to Treasury Department data, the total national debt stood at $32.47
trillion on July 6, $1 trillion more than the $31.47 trillion level last seen
on June 2. The national debt had been stuck at or near that June 2 level for
months because the government had hit the debt ceiling and was legally
prohibited from borrowing any more money. (FOX)

One of America's favorite ways to beat the summer heat is to enjoy a nice
scoop or bowl of ice cream!July 16th is National Ice Cream Day.

A recent article by Deb Kiner on Pennlive says "The most popular ice cream
flavor in the United States is not the favorite in Pennsylvania...

vanilla is the most popular flavor in America. It is 30% of all ice cream
purchases through Instacart.

But, not in Pa.

In Pa., we favor - mint [chocolate] chip along with Idaho, Washington and
Oregon."

So is mint chocolate chip your favorite? Or one of America's most popular
