Lesko Votes on the NDAA
“I was pleased to vote for the 2024 NDAA which included critical provisions to support our servicemembers, strengthen our readiness, and ensure our military is prepared to defend our nation against our adversaries. The bill included the largest pay increase for servicemembers in over 20 years, an increase in the Basic Allowance for Housing, and other critical investments in barracks, childcare centers, and schools that will improve the lives of servicemembers on bases. After a robust amendment process, I was also pleased to see that the bill included critical protections against taxpayer funding of abortions and gender reassignment surgeries and protected against the radical teaching of Critical Race Theory and gender ideology in DoD schools and other military instruction.”

Lesko Joins Seth Leibsohn to Discuss the Border
This week, I joined the Seth Leibsohn Show to discuss the border and what Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives are doing to secure it! Listen to my full interview below:

GET THE FACTS: The Border and Your Bottom Line
Again this week, the Biden Administration gave a free pass to tens of thousands of illegal immigrants thanks to their open border policies, so let's look at the facts of how much illegal immigration is costing us. As of 2023, the total cost of illegal immigration for federal, state, and local governments was $150.7 billion, $35 billion higher than in 2017. This amount equates out to a little over $1,100 per taxpayer/per year for strictly the costs associated with illegal immigration. Looking at the facts, it is pretty clear; not only is the border a national security and humanitarian concern, it's an economic concern!
