Hey John,
Since our campaign’s historic endorsement by the Chicago Sun Times earlier this week, our race has really heated up. In case you missed it, here’s a bit of what the Editorial Board had to say:
“The district includes some of the most economically depressed communities in Illinois, stretching through the West and South Sides of Chicago. It deserves a representative who is impatient to change the world, which might be Clark's best trait.”
They are right, I am impatient for change. The people of this community deserve so much better than they’ve been getting, and I’m ready to lead.
We made fundraising headway in December and January and have been able to purchase a TV ad. Now we’re planning direct mailers for some very specific IL-07 neighborhoods. That’s why we can’t afford to slip, and we need your support now more than ever!
If we can raise another $12,000 in the next week, we have a real shot at this race!
With only a few short weeks to go until the Primary, this is when we leave it all on the field, so if you haven’t had a chance to pitch in yet, now is your opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people in IL-07. |

This campaign is working around the clock every day to reach every corner of our community, and frankly if you know anything about me, you know I’m not giving up on this community. It’s not easy doing this without PAC or special interest money, but my only bosses will be the people of IL-07. So, I can’t overstate how critical your support is today.
