Last Sunday, Governor Glenn Youngkin, along with faith leaders and health
officials, discussed the behavioral health crisis at Mt. Zion Baptist Church,
organized by VOICE, an interfaith coalition of religious communities and civic
organizations in Northern Virginia.

“This isn’t a partisan moment. It’s a chance to say that there’s plenty of
money in the system. We can pass a budget that can fund this, and we can get
going because I don’t think Virginians should wait any longer,” said Governor
Youngkin.

For the first time in 90 years of FFA gatherings, a First Lady delivered
remarks and visited with young Virginians at the FFA (Future Farmers of
America) state convention alongside Secretary of Agriculture and Forestry Matt
Lohr. Held at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, the annual gathering united
thousands of middle and high school students aspiring to agricultural careers.
Recognizing First Lady Youngkin's support for Virginia agriculture, the chapter
also presented her with an honorary state FFA degree.

Virginia artist Barclay Sheaks’ breathtaking and serene painting ‘Watcher by
the Rail’ made #homehistory by being featured in The Art Experience at the
Executive Mansion. Featuring Sheaks’ wife, Edna, the painting was part of the
“Watcher” series — a collection depicting ferry passengers peering attentively
at the water. Sheaks’ work is inspired by the beauty of the Chesapeake Bay and
a river in Poquoson. To learn more about Sheaks and other works in The Art
Experience, head to the Executive Mansion website or visit the Executive
Mansion in person each Tuesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
