John, The Supreme Court's move towards extremism in a number of recent cases means one thing for us: We must stand together and fight back at the ballot box.

Now the Court is about to hear a case that could result in more access for domestic abusers to purchase guns.

It’s not just the Supreme Court: Republicans at all levels of government continue to ignore the epidemic of gun violence that we face in our country. They continue to bow to the gun lobby while families’ lives are ripped apart due to senseless, preventable gun violence.

Democrats lead the fight in Congress. Since passing the first major common sense gun measure into law in decades, they continue to introduce several bills, including the banning of assault weapons, to enact reform. But with Republicans holding the House, passing them is impossible.
