Hello, John,

I know you're busy enjoying what for some of you is a long weekend, but I just wanted to write a quick note expressing my appreciation for how much grassroots activists like you have done for this team.

Last night, we were able to knock our fundraising goals out of the park, all thanks to dedicated and passionate supporters like you.

I know it might seem like the election is a long way off, but the support you've given this team will allow us to prepare for the negative Republican attack ads that have already begun appearing across North Carolina.

November is eight months away, but we have to make every day until election day count.

We have a tough fight ahead of us, but I know that we can win if we all work together and keep fighting for the progress we've made over the last three years.
