John — Real Justice’s Organizing Director here. Right now, we’re in the process of massively scaling up our volunteer data team, and we need your help. Our most immediate need is to help Audia Jones bring real reform to Harris County, Texas (that’s Houston!) by electing her as district attorney.

The first hurdle to electing Audia is making sure she has enough signatures to get her on the election ballot – and we need help entering that data.

Can you join our Data Team to do the vital work of transcribing petition signatures to get Audia on the election ballot? This is a critical step to electing her and transforming the justice system in Houston.

Houston’s current District Attorney, Kim Ogg, ran her campaign on progressive reform platform, but since taking office she has consistently failed to live up to her promises. She has implemented draconian policies like ridiculously high bail amounts just for marijuana possession.

We’re putting everything we’ve got into this race because Audia will bring much-needed reform to the people of Houston. If we succeed in electing her – in a place like Houston, which has one of the largest jail systems in the country – it could set a national precedent for even more wins.

Do your part to elect Audia Jones to District Attorney of Houston by joining our data team. Let’s get Audia’s name over the first hurdle: putting her on the ballot!

After this data assignment, there will be much more important data to be processed. But I want you to each and every task gets our candidates closer to winning, and changing our justice system from the inside out.

Thank you,

Chris Lazare
